Takumi is the Japanese word meaning “artisan”.
Many artisans have their unique skills to attract people around the world.
Their skills are not only making traditional crafts or arts but also offering physical activities to remain for generations to come.
 
Here in the countryside of Tokyo (Nishitama area),
the leading artisans show their outstanding skills along
with the regions' history.
We have established a good relationship with the artisans, so we will be willing to introduce them and offer you a wonderful experience as a new destination.
The experience will allow you to see firsthand how their works are made while learning their skills and history.

Seasonal Flowers

Cherry Blossoms at Ryushuin Temple

A variety of cherry blossoms and flowers bloom at the temple in Akiruno. Check out the 5 kinds of cherry trees at the same time.

**This activity can be added after Kurohachijo Experience and Ninja Training.**
Season: Early~Mid April

There’s one old house built in the early 18th century with a thatched roof on a mountain. A small monorail car takes us to this historical architecture located at an altitude of 750 meters.  Also, azaleas can be seen outside of the residence in the blooming season.

**This activity can be added after Kurohachijo Experience and Ninja Training.**
Season: Mid April

As many as 17,000 azaleas bloom at the historic temple in Ome. The 15-meter tall standing statue of Kannon Bodhisattva is one of the features of the temple.
