Tamura Sake Brewery

A brewery founded in 1822. Its numerous storehouses, nationally registered as tangible cultural property, and stone walls are very pretty. Respecting tradition, they also create unique sakes based on new ideas.

It is a beautiful sake brewery symbolized by the stately white walls, black roofs, fences and chimney. The representative brand of Tamura brewery is "幻の酒 Maboroshi no Sake" and "田むら Tamura". Established in 1822, the Tamuras were the head of Fussa village since the old days. A part of the building is designated as a registerd cultural property. The 800 -year old Japanese zelkova is breathtaking.
